Description: The aim of this project is to prepare a Lithuanian Corporate Governance Improvement Plan, which includes the analysis of the company’s activities, the setting and preparation of the water management sector transformation model. The aim of the transformation model is to restructure the drinking water supply and wastewater treatment sector in order to increase operational efficiency ( to reduce operating costs, change the cost structure, fully implement the cost recovery principle) and achieve state targets ( to reduce uneven prices of centralized services that provide drinking water and wastewater treatment, as well as to improve service provision and availability). The project analyzed the reforms of foreign GAEC sectors and their operation, good and bad experiences of countries were distinguished. The project was implemented by Smart Continent.
