Description: The Lithuanian Transport Development Strategy until 2050 prepared by Smart Continent is a long-term document covering the state priorities, tasks and measures of road transport, railways, water transport, air transport, digital connectivity of the postal services and their long lasting interactions. The focus is on “green”, integrated and secure communications, while at the same time maintaining the competitiveness of the country’s economy. The strategy is developed on a bottom-up basis, by integrating and coordinating the interests of companies in all sectors into a common state vision. Much attention has been paid to meeting the goals of the EU Transport White Paper’s Transport Strategy until 2050.
