Description: Lithuania, like many other countries, has made commitments to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gases. In order to stop climate change and mitigate its consequences, the Ministry of Environment has concluded an agreement with Smart Continent. According to this agreement, a draft of Lithuanian climate change management strategy has been prepared, goals, objectives and measures that will reduce CO2 emissions have been structured. Most of the carbon dioxide is emitted by road transport, especially cars and agriculture trasport. The developed package of measures will contribute to the implementation of climate change commitments by 2030.
