We assist European, national and local governments, which are facing growing pressure to deliver more and better for less. As public sector organisations are facing complex and rapidly increasing economic, social and environmental challenges, we can help them to develop the evidence-based policy toolbox. We carry out evaluation and policy analysis at various stages of the policy cycle: at the beginning – ex-ante, in the middle of implementation or at the end of a programme – ex post. We undertake sectorial evaluations in different policy fields and horizontal evaluations that cut across different policies. We use a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methods involving relevant stakeholders and society in the evaluation process.

Technical Assistance Alliance helps non-profits, municipalities, universities as well as SMEs and large businesses to reach their goals by providing project assistance. We provide grant application writing, state of the art research, gap analysis, needs assessments along with screening of funding opportunities for various international programmes such as H2020, SME instrument, Innovation Fund, Restructurisation fund, COST, Interreg Europe, and Cross border programs as well and national investment programmes. We can assist in all aspects of project implementation from initial concept stage to implementation, administration and monitoring of desired outcomes.

Socioeconomic and Policy Research

For services and technical assistance our clients can draw on our existing knowledge and experience. In our socioeconomic and policy research projects we push the boundaries and apply latest thinking and leading-edge techniques. Our projects are funded by European initiatives such as Horizon 2020, FP7, FP6, Interreg cooperation programs, as well as national research grants. Alliance members are continuously involved in a number of research projects with partners across Europe, and disseminate the network’s research findings to the private and policy sectors.
